I've got no sympathy for town when I was pming Mr. Waffles important mafia plans, they had no way of targeting Samavarti, Shiny had two lives and was confirmed on the first day, Baroxio had unlimited voting power... the list goes on. From a mod standpoint town lost because most of their roles were wasted, not because the mafia was overpowered.
 
But this game is a perfect example of mafia lately: Town refuses to think for themselves and just mindlessly sheeps at anything presented at them while the free thinkers (AJ and Sant?) are ignored.
Mafia wins so many games lately and it's all a result of this. The town wins as of late were only a result from role faggotry or mass role revealing (mostly the latter), which is what my fear was this game.

Reading through I'd say that the post restriction was pretty OP for a small game like this. Not only controlling a person but telling them to do multiple things like attack a certain player's posts, and on top of that controlling their vote seems pretty OP, IMO.

It's bad enough town naturally has no information to go off on. An ability like that not only actively feeds misinformation to town, it allows mafia to target the people in the thread who make the most sense and simply ruin their credibility while stopping them from scumhunting, and it does so with absolutely no risk involved for the mafioso in question. For such a small game, it's pretty powerful. Less powerful in a large game, but still pretty powerful regardless.

Of course, I didn't really get a chance to play the game (:pek), so take my opinion with a grain of salt.
 
I really don't think it was that OP. Santi's way of getting past it was pretty clever, and again, I saw it staring me in the face, and still didn't get Chaos lynched because of it.

It was like 3 mafia against 12 Town with lots of abilities, and also an Indie. I think it was fairly balanced, just depended on who was more active.
 
when you make a game you usually want counter play for most abilites

you have mafia able to use a superkill for the faction kill, if you go that route the doctor should be able to protect it. darth(towns bp) getting modkilled didnt even matter because he would have died. that in culmination with post controlling and the rolecrush puts it over the top

there was a role that would poison a persons attacks but you only had one town member who could kill anyone???? its pretty much a usless ability unless you know who the town vig is

pretty much it would have been more balanced if mafia didnt have a superkill every night and instead as a one shot. normally superkills are one shots used to take out the town bp role. without it if targets stayed the same wed have shiny with an mvp doctor performance
 
the superkills were more of a problem than the controlling mechanic. Mr. Waffles QT message thing was probably towns biggest weapon and it was more of an rng mechanic

in bigger games having super faction kills isnt as big of a problem because theres more room for error due to the size, in a game like this those 3/4 town shiny would have protected would have changed the game possibly(impossible to tell tho because then ur going into hypothetical stuff and assuming mafia and town act the same way because a person lives)

Town played like shit and I didn't feel the need to even really get involved in the game, yet still won it. Gg.

Sant? made me sweat a little, that was a pretty solid guess. HN made me laugh with his certainty of Sama being mafia. Since Sama was sure to go first even ?f people would listen to him, I had nothing to worry about.

I agree that this game was imblance, but great roles none-the-less, good job nitty.

Chaos and gumby are like the masters of blending, I wonder who would win in a stand-off.

Lmao YM, I 100% forgot that I killed you. The phase was slow and I had nothing to go off of lol. You seemed scummiest at the time but I was mostly trying to inspire activity.

Dega was my one missed read. I totally thought he was scum.

If town didn't lynch me though, Town would have won.

I was sure Sama and you were mafia. I just couldn't be ass'd to start a wagon. And I did call the control thing spot on, and it'd have made more sense to get you lynched first but eh. There wasn't a lot of energy in this game.
