Also I think it's worth noting that after seeing the Shyvana role we need to keep a close eye on people swearing/talking in caps/rudeness/rage, as those traits might be an indicator as to a role that works off of rage (ie Tryndamere, Renekton, ect, not sure if those are even roles in the game but it's worth noting).

Then again, like I said, it may have been specific to Shyvana.
 
Hammer's feign ignorance and forced reaction on the nocturne ability post leaves me most uncomfortable. Surely I'm not the only one that is getting weird vibes from it. :catghost

FireStormer (:cat) brings a valid point about Franky. His voting felt iffy at the end of the phase. I suppose he wanted to be out of the wagon, as he possibly knew very well that Saturno is going to flip town?

@parka, vode, stelios, sin. Could you please provide me reads on hammer and franky? Mostly curious about you guys, but if anyone else has anything to share, that'd be swell.
 
when shyvana got gooned i was like oh wow dat role
and i was speculating on role mechanics and assuming that ultimates=1 shots
degaforce confirmed this with me by affirming that he has a one-shot and thats how it works
so mafia is PR hunting
but...who would PR hunt without also going after...higher priority targets?
this seems like a very belph thing to do

I share similar thoughts with what firestormer is saying so far, so I'd like to believe he's town. Chaos is most probably town, he has very different distinctive difference in attitude when he's anti-town.

WAD, idk. Statistically I'd say he should ROLL anti-town/mafia (whatever) by now. And even if it wasn't fully RNG'd, I can see Nitty potentially signing him something juicy. Regardless, He's neutral to me.

Hammer: Doesn't really contribute much 1 lynch post yesterday and 3 posts of spam to make him seem "active". Laying low, could be worth a pressure.

Franky: doesn't come out too scummy to me. And other posts are meaningless.

What i don't understand is Saturnos lynch, where did that came from and why it happened. Cause of Saturno?

He's one of my biggest townreads tbh. He has been a little bit of a neurotic mess so far, but from what I can see it does seem to be genuine.

I never contribute day 1 and besides I thought I posted more but it seemed my internet kicked when I hit send canceling it.
 
I can confirm that not all ultimates are one-shots.

Also have not hinted in my risk exchange, was just in the mood for some conversation tbh.

Also I think it'd be stupid to NL this phase. Mafia will go off on a tangent since it's private, a lot of people are against NL and will vote for a player regardlessly and these factors combined pretty much give mafia the lynch this phase. We want a good lynch, we need to be a united front today. Mafia will surely try to eliminate someone they want to get rid of under these circumstances.

im down to try but here's the problem

1) how can we actually unify more than just a presumed plurality
2) mafia members will say in thread "oh yea im totally gonna vote X" when in reality they're not

Yea, we won't get to play mindgames today, so brute force remains. We need to identify a possibly scum target that mostly everyone wants gone today, even if it is not the optimal one.

We need to make sure to only vote once, or if someone fired their load too early, twice at most.

It won't gain us information, but it will change the lynch from mafia's pick to a town effort that can possibly still net a scum.

As said before we can still post normal votes in thread to go through the process, though I'm kind of afraid that that exact style of formatting will cause us to set off some sort of trap, with the whole 'watch where you post' and 'only private votes' thing.
 
Well we have two points of action...

We all vote No Lynch

We all vote for the same person

Both of these require us to all to vote for the same person or no lynch. No Lynch feels safer, since we dodge the chance of the Mafia trying to play us into a townie as our target, in my opinion.

However we need to consider that that means we skip a lynch

Info or a lead would be perfect as that is usually the only way town ever unites anyway. I'm arguing for when there is no strong lead.

Idealism is a strong word tbh. I'd personally be willing to even RNG the list if it comes to that just to deny mafia taking their personal pick. I'll stand by this even if I get RNG'd myself to be deaded, since the result is probably stilll better than letting mafia do their thing. There are some hefty restrictions on this phase and I'm trying to theorize the way in which it can still be relatively positive for town.

Also whatever I said has little to no bear at this point in the phase, we just need to keep it in mind moving on. The only real important thing at this point is don't fucking vote until there's a clear plan.
 
well getting the cop to reveal this early even if they already had a guilty result would be a bad play i think

BUT honestly consider the following:

there was only one kill last night

in a role madness game of this magnitude?

i think mafia, town vig, SK are pretty much granted

perhaps one of our roleblockers got one?

Franky seemed condescending at last phase. He has explained himself at this phase but I haven't seen him play at all, ever, so I'm not sure if this is just him or just scum trying to avoid friction.
Hammer's question about Nocturne's ability is borderline fluff. Frankly hammer for me goes at the same chaotic pit with remchu.

What are your thoughts on wad, Marco and Waffles by the way?

Vode wad started the Saturno wagon and people just hoped on.
D2 we have a wad advocating that he was a useless governor so his death won't be missed. Let's completely ignore that as town the endgame is to lynch mafia because wad's gonna wad :doge

Looking at my own role and the revealed Shyvana one, this is a game of conditions that need to be met to use abilities. I think things will heat up once we're getting further in.

Stelios did mention he got roleblocked.

Then again, this is pretty dangerous since we have no idea if Dega was killed by mafia or town.

I am not sure that No Lynch will happen even if it has a majority.

Players can make lynch votes by typing [vote lynch XXX]. Players are not obligated to vote and can change their vote by typing [change vote lynch XXX]. To abstain from the lynch vote entirely, players can type [vote no lynch] or simply [unvote]. Whoever has the most votes at the end of the day will be lynched. If there is a tie, the lynch will be randomized between the two candidates.

Dega being targeted isn't surprising at all. It's not like he's a bad player. He qualifies for rule of WAD, even.

A unified front is the point here. Not sure why you think agreeing on NL is impossible but convincing a significant majority to vote a single person is easier. It would be the opposite, if anything.

I suppose it's possible, but mafia later rolecrush someone, and Marco almost immediately states that he's been targeted with the rolecrush.

It could be a gambit, but on Day 1, with Marco having 0 suspicion on him at the time? I sincerely doubt it.
