Okay, just a heads up. I'm not the lie detector. I definitely wouldn't have used it on myself this phase when I could've used it to determine FP's role. Also, while I appreciate it, it's kind of a waste as, like I said, I can prove my role beyond a shadow of doubt anytime I want.

@fp, if yiu were baiting, I'm guessing you mean you wanted to see who would jump on lynching you? Then why did you tunnel me, the one guy who didn't vote you and actually discouraged it, instead of those who bandwagoned.

@stelios lynch, how is this gaining traction over Saturno?

Exactly because of that. You didn't vote for me no matter what I said, that makes me think you knew for a fact I am town, and that would be beause you were mafia.

It's okay though, I trust you now kind of

What is there really on the Saturno lynch? He was discussed early as being a great policy lynch and had a daft interaction with you about "considering" yourself town. I can't say it puts him in my town pile but its not as good of a lead as VoDe not caring about lynching someone over something he seems to think is indicative of a townie with a bad role or Stelios who has potentially knowledge slipped and has Franky defending him with flimsy reasoning.

Why would you lie detect FP over say myself or Saturno? Especially when you have been of the mindset that parka is possibly a jester.

Okay, I caught with a little skimming and I'm town but not a powerful role.

I could kinda understand being "policy lynch" but find it weird how quick Remchu went for me also WAD tell me the reason why I should be lynch? I'm curious on your explanation...make me suspicious of you.

Familyparka could likely be town since the last game I play with him where he was super scummy but was town.

Lissandra used Frozen Tomb to role crush ???

This is me. I guess the lie detect was helpful after all.

Do you believe there's only one mafia faction?

I don't think there's much chance of a VoDe lynch today. I missed the stelios bit though, could you point it out?

I'm mostly trying to make sure WAD or FP don't get lynched. While Saturno's post looks like a slip to me (with the considering bit) and scummy (asking me and 2 others randomly when we consider ourselves town), I don't think it's very uncharacteristic of him even as townie.

Just giving an example of the better use I could've made of a lie detect. I'm not actually lie detector, so I haven't been looking at people's posts in that context. Might have considered Saturno over FP but I think determining a jester is more important than mafia concerning day 1 lynch. And you're difficult to lie detect, as you refrain from lying to the best of your abilities, though I would've tried to, and probably ended up waiting until the last minute to use it on someone else.

uh

if you're town you're not a big loss since u barely give any input ever

which is why i considered u a "policy lynch"

If I was mafia, I wouldn't use my 1shot rolecrush on someone I want to N1 kill. But I won't say no to some protection.

Also, considering all this 1shot spam, WPK probably not mafia, at least not red mafia.
Is there reason to assume two mafias? The way Nitty's OP puts it, one mafia is implied. Not discounting a second one but you word it as more of a fact then a possibility.

FP looking too deep into the reasoning behind the ability spam. Using up one-shots to frame a mid-low tier player and an oldfag who also isn't any kind of large threat. I doubt that quite a bit.

Laix (may have) known Pantheon's ability was inbound
Steilios (may have) also had prior knowledge of the ability as well

Knowing that Pantheon's ability in game DOES cast a warning to the enemy that may mean both Steilios and Laix were town trying to warn people and they just got a random message? It'd be worthless if it warned everyone. In the end Laix obviously tried to tank one for the team.

Like I said, I want more information before I can hard accuse anyone but Steilios is obviously a little suspicious, however if Laix was town then him having an idea of the Pantheon thing (if he did) would be moot.
Between these two posts, not only Franky had not posted how/why he changed his town read from Stelios to "Stelios is obviously a little suspicious" (Franky in fact had no posts in between),
but also Stelios had not made a single post for Franky to change his mind.

AM/Saturno/Franky/Stelios are my scum reads.

I'm mostly taking it for granted. I have no knowledge of this theme beyond psychic's LoL game, and from that and the little wikiing I did, it makes sense for the game to have multiple mafia.

But mostly, it's the number of players.

By the way, did you miss my post asking about Stelios'? Or did I miss your response?

Sure thing Marco

:maybe

Lol, bro I have no reason to try and hide my identity if it's alrwady out there. I'm rolecrushed already.

Im just making it absolutely clear that noone should know my role just by paying attention to the game.

I have no idea how you could know my role, FP. At least not via just paying attention to the game. Like I said, my role has only ever been mentioned as ???.

@LG, so you're saying no rule of WAD this game?

I'm not discounting it entirely but at the very least if there it is that player isn't calling the shots

Using what's probably 2 one shots blindly(the super kill ended up OK except imo laix would have fucked up his role somehow anyway lol) day one is uh different

Put your dick back in your pocket, parka.

Ok, WAD's responses seemed genuine. I think I can trust him for now.

And adding to the reasons to use a one shot this early, I like the theory that the player who has the role of Pantheon drops a number and that number is the kill drop.

Stelios was getting some attention from WAD, that would push him to believe he will not be alive for much longer. The higher you go on post count in the thread the more obvious it would be when a player dies to the exact number that someone else said.
180 was a good shot, as it could be masked well enough. In fact, only ROFL noticed for the most part.

I believe Stelios to be Pantheon.

[Vote lynch Stelios]

There has been an amendment to the gameplay section of the first post.

• Bulletproof players become temporarily vulnerable to kills when they are roleblocked.

I designed this game with the understanding that a bulletproof player could be killed if the kill was combined with a roleblock. Looking into it, I realize now that this understanding is not universal and I recognize the consistency issues it poses with roleblocks generally not disabling passives (for example, roleblocked masons can still communicate). At this point, I feel changing the mechanic would be more disruptive than helpful so I'm bringing it to your attention to preempt any confusion. I will evaluate after the game how this mechanic played out and whether I would like to include it in future games.

Generally, I treat roleblocks as stopping a player from targeting their ability, thus stopping active abilities. And rolecrush as plain stopping the abilities, thus stopping even the passive ones.

RB+kill definitely seems pro-mafia, but if you've designed the game with the mechanic in mind, I don't think it should be a problem.
