His "Wait Mello is in this??" is what makes it feel fake. It's not only his vote which is NAI, it's how it is placed.
Guess what, that part is fake. It's merely a jokey-reason to jokingly 'justify' why I suddenly placed a vote on Melodie. I knew Melodie was in this game as I got a notification she was added to the notification conversation thing. That thing was just a reminder for me and all of you that I vote Melodie in every game we're in together.
So. You're reading too much into shit Cypher. As always. Learn to let go instead of being such a stubborn bitch at times thanks. You're wrong.

Cooler and I never once defended Sin, Flower. Is saying that you're scummy for the way you suspected him a defense somehow?
You pushed Cypher instead of Sin, the Sin who got scumreaded by Cypher.

You definetly defended Sin in Cyphers eyes. In TownCyphers world everyone knows Cypher is Town and Cyphers reads are flawless resulting in:
pushing Cypher = protecting the one Cypher is pushing

:bloblick

@SinRaven what do you think about Cooler and Denim hard defending you? And about my wagon?
From what I've seen, Cooler and Denim just see reason in my posts. I don't think they're hard defending me as much as attacking you, so you are probably reading too much into it again. But to be fair, I haven't seen much. Aside from Denim's initial vote I hadn't seen other people voting/suspecting you, I still have a lot of catching up to do, so in general I have no real meaningful thoughts on this,

In the Sin vs Flower argument I'd have to agree with the fact that there wasn't really anything to catch, people are busy and that vote doesn't really mean anything. But seeing the aftermath of this argument I think that there is a bigger picture formed about the players here.

First thing that caught my eye (not about the Sin vs. Flower argument) was Hayumi's reads, which were mostly town reads. It's already been mentioned since then though, so it's not exactly new, but it's the very first impression of their possible alignment. Not only that, but once they've been called out for it, their sus list was meh at best, there wasn't any explanation for the suspicion on Ali or Denim (? I think).

Second thing I noticed is Usopp's wagoning; it did not take him much to jump on the Flower wagon. Don't think that he is town I'll say that now.

Third thing is Cooler. They're very convinced that Flower is scum, and particularly trying to convince John about it? Why John out of all the people here? And trying so hard to do it too, I don't get it.

I am still reading, I just thought I would leave this here.

Man we're really in the weeds now if defending a person for leaving a thread to get on with their lives is sus behavior
Not really. Hayumi wrote a whole essay on it. Moreover, it’s SinRaven’s job to deal with the repercussions of his absence. It isn’t our job to defend SinRaven for his irl obligations. That’s the hosts job if the player notified them beforehand or the players once they return. We don’t know anyone’s alignment in this game 100% other than our own.

I’ve been absent in games before. Have you seen anyone defend me? Nope.

Except Sin had already returned and explained his position before your posted that, clearing himself of the suspicion that he might have been hiding for whatever reason :oldshrug

I was asked who my three scum susses were by whoever it was I initially quoted, after telling Ussop I didn’t have one particular person I wanted lynched. So instead I gave three who I’d be ok with lynching, since I really don’t have strong susses atm. Granted I’m still at work so I haven’t given everything a proper iso. But I’ve had enough time so I keep popping in and out. Which is why I need to look back through everything. I’d prefer someone with a heavy amount of sus by a multitude of people to be lynched, then one of the inactifags. But I don’t plan on putting my vote on flower, nor do I want her to get lynched, so I need to look back over all my options. I realize this may sound a little contradictory but that’s all I got sorry. I also know I’m scum read pretty much all the time whether I’m scum or town because of my play style and meta remaining the same, so I’m a very easy push for actual mafia/indies.
Alright, that's fair. I understand.

Did he?

I could have sworn he voted/dipped, Cypher cyphered, Sin returns & battles cypher and leaves again for work, then Hayumi defends sin despite Sin already handling his own business with cypher.
I meant these string of posts a page before you posted:
I don't feel like Cypher has been answering my questions at all, but I don't suspect her for it. Like she said herself to Denim: she doesn't answer the questions of people she thinks are scum. I think that's pretty stupid, tbh, but I don't feel like something like that is out of the question for Town!Cypher to do.

In fact, after all the discussion and the level-headedness and stubbornness I've seen her display, I feel like from what I've seen from her play it more or less aligns with the Town!Cypher I know. Her unwillingness to see the other side of things, ignoring the flaws people point out in her and general uncooperativeness might be scum traits, but it's something I've seen Town!Cypher do many times. The Scum!Cypher I know generally posts a lot too, but is scared (as I've seen her post in scumchats) and usually wants to move to other subjects instead of sticking to the same thing over and over, even when a lot of others think she is wrong.

To be fair, this is based on everything I've seen so far, which isn't a lot. I basically only read page one, and skimmed over a few things between my initial posts and the discussion I had with Cypher, but other than that I don't know.

In my eyes that clears him of his absence being anything other than irl commitments, since he returned and explained away all of his positions.

@Hero @SinRaven both of you agree with my question.... Thats don't help me.

Did I Just missed the big heart of JW or is His behaviour weird?
His cheering of Cypher struck me as odd as well, but I'm not really sure if they had interaction in this game before, so it might have come natural? If not, not sure what he's doing. Not something to suspect him for, but definitely something to be wary of.

I am hell-bent on you being scum. Really??? I've made my case on you and I've never pushed for others to lynch you. I even said to Usopp that your defensiveness is townie for you. All I'm doing is just responding to these preposterous posts you're saying about me but apparently I'm hell-bent on you being scum.
I think if you weren't hell-bent on her being scum and that you did believed her defensiveness is a townie trait that you would have removed your vote from her, no?

TBF not really sure what to think of Cypher if she's giving up so quickly? Makes her seem scared? That moreso aligns with her scum meta.

Idk, I think Town!Cypher would argue more to her defense, but I'm not sure how hard she defended herself so far.

Y'all have read more than me: others think she's giving up too quickly?
I literally spent half the day arguing. Been on this for hours. I'm done with this.

Attacking you for your flawed reasoning on me ain't white knighting or defending Cypher. Logic like this and the other logic you displayed this game will always make you a target for people. Try to see reason from time to time, jesus, maybe people will reason with you more too then.
And defending me because the accusations thrown at me are Bulls*** is white knighting?

I don't perceive players purely on what they're doing in this game. If I have history with them then I have history and that isn't just magically going away.

This whole giving up shtick and digging her own grave is Cypher's biggest weakness and one I'd like to see her overcome, in this instance I frankly don't even care about alignments.

maybe...just MAYBE...

u might have happened to missed the part where i STARTED the cypher wagon

and my vote on hayumi was a joke vote, so i obv am bound to go bk to cypher after seeing her response

lmao

Sigh. Based on past games with Flower. I'm inclined to believe that she is town. Every time that Flower and me get into arguments like this, she is town. So far that has been 100% the case. When I've suspected her and we didn't argue she was wolf. Now, I guess you could say she could be faking it but has her reactions sound fake to you? Everything she's done so far matches up with the town Flower I've come to be familiar with. I won't complicate it and it'll be simple with the logic. [Unvote]

I doubt arguing would help.

Why did you only realize this at this point? I kinda realized her likely being on her stubborn town meta at the point I dropped out but that was exactly when you started to build your case against her. If you've seen her playing like this before you could've realized it earlier IMO

Yeah I might have missed that, but now it kinda makes you look worse imo. Because I remember specifically that you voted her after she had the initial Denim vote. So it looks like you directed sus, and eventually it got caught on by others, and you sneakily put your vote there. :dotell

I tend to wait after ending my interaction with a player before fully forming my read or changing a previous read. I consider everything they said in our argument and try to reach the best conclusion. I'd rather not jump prematurely.

I see 5 entries where either character is a "traditional villain".

You're probably right, I doubt Nitty set up the game where the fake claim is always the villain if there is a villain to choose from, but you just seemed very sure of it is all.
Sigh what did you want, me to tell you that I'm a villain and scum? Or that I'm a villain and town?

I'm assuming it because I see plenty villains and there probably won't be that many scum. Ergo some villains are town.
