@Underworld Broker
I'm confused by the lighting. On her right eye it look like shadow from some bangs and on her chest a shadow from that collar thing, but I can't think of a direction that would do that.

Possible, but he hadn't posted elsewhere. If he wasn't online prior, he wouldn't have seen his scummates prodding.

did anyone see him lurking before that?

Haven't seen him and only paid attention after someone pointed at him :catthinks

Maybe the full picture makes more sense :catthinks

Yes.

It does also seem weird how fervently Iwan is claiming peasant
There is a difference between making an observation, and dropping a vote post like that. Seems like trying to feign presence to blend. Also Iwan is all about crazy power roles, so while the observation isn't without merit, it could also be his disdain with a peasent role despite most roles being essentially generic at this point by my estimations.

Yeah
My fault by that really.
I find the Idea of generics on a 40+ players game extremely bothersome.
Hopefully thats when the quests mechanics kick in,tho

That's awfully presumptive. Also, awfully defensive.

Is it true though? Did you get accused of that in a previous game?

Also, my point still stands that the point of a "is discussing game mechanics" suspicion is that they use it to get out of other discussions. I haven't used it to get out of other discussions, and the first game mechanics discussion was a direct result of a soft accusation (i.e. that scum would want small scum quests.) If you disagree, then elaborate - Do you disagree that this is a correct assessment of the events or do you simply believe that "mechanics fluff" is suspicious even without the absence of other substantive posts?

I didn't say you were fluffing for discussing game mechanics. You were talking to iwan about generics in large games, which is what I noted as fluff.

I didn't say you were guilty or accuse you, I just noted it. And before you say 'noting it is the same as accusing', it really isn't. Noting is something that can be referred back to if I spot a trend, at which point it becomes useful data.

And you clearly haven't paid attention to any of my posts before now, because I was discussing with Law the mechanics of the quests, so I would be accusing myself of the same thing you think i'm accusing you of.

Reznor is actually playing.
Which means either he is a mafia godfather that wants to emulate town play or a random vanilla that finally can play without a huge target on his head
It's more about what I was last game that this. It's not exactly a rule, but if I'm scum last game (CB game) and was quiet (was mostly from IRL stuff and role restrictions regardless), I shouldn't be quiet this game, regardless of what I am this game. If I was town last game, then it's fine to play it the same way I was last game. It's a way to be harder to read without sacrificing the current game like some do.

Fair. Why did you think the brief discussion of generics was of particular note (moreso than other mechanics discussions)?

Struck me as potentially useful. If iwan is trying a gambit of 'my role really sucks gaiz' and he is actually mafia instead of generic, the people that responded to his ramblings about mafia philosophy could be people on his team trying to fly under the radar, or people just trying to buddy to someone who might have revealed town.

Besides, the simple act of noting something can also draw out information that is useful. Like this whole conversation that came because of it.
