This is Janna reporting live from Summoner's Rift! Hopefully I stay that way!
Welcome back to League of Legends the mafia game, where your favorite champions from across Runeterra will match wits in a no-holds-barred, winner-takes-all showdown! Before we get this show rolling, let's review the rules:
Rules
1. Don't talk about the game outside of the game, unless you're given permission of course! Once you've been removed from the game you must exit the premises immediately, meaning you cannot post or rate other posts. Don't discuss the game with other people after you die, because you never know when you might come right back to life!
2. Here on Summoner's Rift, days last for 36 hours and nights last for 12 hours! Collectively, a 48 hours day and night phase is called a "cycle." At the end of the day phase, whoever has the most votes will be "lynched" and removed from the game. Spooky creatures roam the Rift at night, so make sure to stay quiet or you might get eaten! We're trying to run a show here, so we need you to post at least twice every day.
3. Votes must be phrased [vote lynch X] or [change vote lynch X] or I might just forget my glasses and overlook them!
4. Don't drag me into your game! Don't screenshot or quote your messages with me.
5. Anything you say can and will be used against you, so don't edit or delete your posts to hide the evidence!
Spoiler: The Summoner's Handbook - Mechanics guide
1. Failing to vote for another player will count as two votes toward yourself. You cannot vote for no lynch.
2. There are two levels of kills: regular and super. Regular kills can be stopped by roleblocking the killer or protecting the victim, and consume one life from roles with multiple lives. Superkills bypass all defenses, roleblocks and bonus lives. Superkills can be redirected.
3. "Doctors," or roles with protective abilities, cannot protect themselves. Roleblocks disable some passive defenses ie bulletproof abilities, but roleblocks don't disable extra lives.
4. Unless stated otherwise, active abilities can only be used during the night, and players with multiple active abilities can only use one each night. Actions are processed at the end of the night. Role crushes take priority over roleblocks, and roleblocks take priority over most other abilities. The mafia faction gets priority on kills.
5. Doctors learn when they successfully block a kill, but roleblockers do not learn when they successfully prevent an ability.
6. Abilities with limited use are not expended until they succeed. For example, a one shot can be used a second time if it's roleblocked.
7. Faction kills are performed by a specific member of that mafia, and can be tracked or roleblocked by targeting that person. Faction kills are treated like abilities, but role crushes don't prevent mafia from using the faction kill.
8. Role crushes remove all abilities from their victim, effectively making them a "vanilla" role. Role crushed players retain only their voting power. Protection against roleblocks does not work against role crushes.
9. Role names are colorless in writeups unless the role has already been revealed.
