Dead townie, dead maf, 3 alive townies. A vigi shot in any other game would go down like that , he didn't get roleblocked and it wasn't a 1v1. I'm not a 100% sure on it though

My priority has been:

Superkills > role crushes > roleblocks > faction kill > ability kills > other abilities

There were 2, Nessos and InfinityG, a lot of others wouldn't have any idea about this rule from your previous games too, I didn't, I don't think Drago and Kvothe did either.

I do this thing I call a fifty/fifty, it's mainly hunchwork but basically I observe things and when I see a pair that seems iffy I make a note. Then I convert that to if one dude is town then the other must be mafia

It's very scientific

Melodie didn't even show up end of day and has a self vote of 2. What mafia would do that -_- and SinRaven did that so obviously because of melodie's passive. Because he knew she was telling the truth.

This has happened plenty of times in my games, where the mafia kills someone the same night they try to kill someone else. The mafia kill takes priority, so the person dies without their kill going through.

I agree with this mostly except faction kills

Imo it would be a double kill(as all things happen at the same time in the night phase kinda) and I don't think there should be a difference between normal kills unless specified. Mainly because in a basic generic game that's how that would work(vig getting shot doesn't stop him from pulling the trigger etc)

I also wouldnt have kills stop specific abilties (let's say player a used a one shot restore at night and also got shot, he'd die but the restore would still happen).

Imo the very basics of mechanics from generic games should be consistent (how vigea/cops/etc work) to make the transition of a role madness game easier. Me personally in that priority loop set up I would want to know about that beforehand in the op cause I'd be tilted if it happened to me since it's not standard

Thematically it's the mafia member was waiting in the shadows to strike first, as the vigilante is heading to the mafias residence. They aren't out here having a duel.

I think I am a bit too much ToS damaged, but I actually like that priory system.

transport/bus drive > control > block > all other abilities(besides kills) > kills (with killers killing each other)

For me giving faction kills priory is like giving the faction kill an additional halfass block.

I have 2 problems with them killing each other.

1. like WPK said, mafia should have the advantage during the night.

2. I never resolve two actions simultaneously. One always has to go first. When two people roleblock each other, I use a randomizer to see whose roleblock goes through.
