I know i've tinfoiled a lot in this game, but is it really so out of left-field to assume a mafia has a cop on it? I can't even think of a game where town has information gatherers and the mafia doesn't.

It's not, which is part of why you're not in my top scum list. Rereading it also puts it better in a mere speculation light.

WolfPrinceParanoia is rearing his head and overthinking things. Wouldn't be the first time I trolled myself by trying to make sense of a setup, hoping for balance.

It’s definitely something I want to actively consider and emphasize the community uses in smaller games like this.

It’s not a perfect detection method, but vote tracking will always serve as the objectively best baseline to work from.

If things are as claimed with no hidden fuckery, I would say that this set-up pretty heavily favors town. That one of the mafia's roles is entirely conditional, with it's lie detector defense against a one-shot lie detect and one-shot superkill if they find the BP or want to get past obvious doctor protection, is pretty bad when it's only four of them against the multiple protects, investigations and confirmed townies/mafia(innocent child and lie detector if they hit anyone but the one mafia with immunity).

I almost think they have to have a role cop at this point.

You know, trolling Legend a bit with my ratings just now, I pondered on people subtly influencing the game through ratings despite being dead/restricted from speaking about certain things. I mean, if people really wanted to cheat there are better ways but this could happen without really realizing it.

I doubt the last role is immune to both tracking and investigations (if we assume waffles isn't lying out of his ass). So, there were still more than one mafia left alive at the end of n2, so that last one isn't a full clear. However, it is something.

Tracker relies on picking not only a mafia player but the one doing the kill that night, so it's not so powerful as a watcher or cop. I could see there being one in this game without there being a counter on the mafia due to that, even with there also being a cop and one-time lie detect.

Could be a fakeclaim but I'm inclined to believe it. Waffles would run the risk of there being an actual town tracker if he fakeclaimed as well.
