also who is this maerala and why is he/she coasting so elegantly?

I'm getting scum vibes from stelios, some pink hazard flashbacks. He's been quiet, coasting, and lowkey defends another's vote on me.

MAD is certain I'm scum this time, I wonder what gives since the last time I pulled this stunt he was all defensive. Perhaps it's his method of removing town with little effort.

kira seems strange, there's this sort of tone shift in his post, seems more serious than comedic. probably scum

You are being pretty inconsistent, WAD. First you say that you’re sure SK will flip scum and now you’re saying you only want to lynch SK because of policy.

What’s worrisome is that Waffles baited SK to make a troll scum claim and you’re acting like SK made the same play he did in the generic game. It is completely different.

Both you and Waffles just wanted to get off with the easiest possible day phase by baiting SK and then policy lynching him once he took the bait – and that is a pretty ideal plan for scum.

given the sentiments at the time i was pretty confident in SK being scum
7-8 votes later and SK crying about being mislynched after the votes locked is making me reconsider that my assessment at the time was wrong

As for whether SK will flip scum or not, I have no clue – but what you did is still scummy and lazy. Even if he does flip scum, you are not absolved of how you played this phase, because there are multiple factions and I’m willing to bet at least 2 scum factions.

    WAD for his part in the SK lynch and clash with jayjay. Non-voters for the fact that they didn't vote which in itself is scummy, some worse than others there like Stelios.

    Waffles's flip make him a person of interest. He was the first one to react to my vote and read on Waffles. It didn't feel like a Townie inquiring about other players scum reads, but more like a scum reacting to a weak case on his buddy early on and attempting to nip it in the bud. He tried to brush it off as not a big deal while allegedly seeing where I was coming from.

    At this point, I don't think Dragomir looks too good. Don't think his explanations held up too well to scrutiny earlier when questioned for why he asked those few people to give his reads. Cooler might be another to look at, even if I don't personally agree with it that much. I know people said his argument against JayJay seemed contrived, but I didn't really see that when I first read through it. Will probably do so again later. Also, just to get this straight WAD is under fire for voting SK and then coasting D1, yeah?

    Maerala apologizes for voting for Jayjay and somehow people have connected that to him faction killing him which... is reaching pretty far tbh. I think Maerala is just riding the fluff train but doesn’t look like a threat for now.

    For now what we know...
    JJCB is confirmed (more or less) as Illidan considering SK called him on it and SK flipped with a passive allowing him to know who Illidan is.
    Maerala is a Tauren I guess

    2) I role claimed to try and get a reaction out of him, he completely ignored my defense and kept his vote on me without even posting a rebuttle. This screams scum trying to get a bandwagon on an easy target and not caring about anything I put out.

    3) He immediatly switched his vote to SK when he saw he wasnt getting any traction.

    4) Jayjay gets into argument with Wad then Jayjay gets lynched, WPK immeadiatly comes in sus of WAD. I aint gonna defend WAD because his day 1 play was complete garbage but WPK is coming off as opportunistic scum here.

    Do you consider yourself low hanging fruit? Good to know. My late vote was indeed missed. I seen that the day was not over and got my vote in. I could have just skipped it if there was intention to place an invalid vote. Nobody was voting for me either so having two self votes was a non factor.

    So what’s my motive per your thinking for the vote? Stop using words I already used please. Feels like you are parroting me.

    Don't know why everyone is suddenly jumping on this WPK train. He had the right idea of going after MAD for his silly pursuit of the SK lynch. Plus looking into people who didn't vote will be beneficial. Like Hyperion for example. He was active but didn't vote for anyone. In addition his post were mainly about the game's lore instead of what's actually going on this game. Pretty suspicious that.

    I still think jayjay's reasons for voting Waffles were weak but he turned out to be right, so I ended on the wrong side of that argument. People have already highlighted that they need to "look at me". Not sure what you can infer from me recognising that?

    'Accidental' because I think there's a chance you were waiting for the end of the phase to blend on the biggest wagon and didn't want to fake scumhunt and give reads, not accidental in terms of giving an invalid vote.

    From what I've seen you're hesitant to give reads, you picked SK a wagon where you didn't feel you had to justify your vote with substantive reads on anyone and now you've voted for me claiming vague reasons which you've refused to explain despite being asked multiple times. You had 48 hours to vote but you waited until the last minute to do it and then just jumped on the slam dunk wagon? I'm sure you intended to make a valid vote but you could have been waiting to see which way the wind was blowing to blend and left it a little too late.

    @Shizune I just combed through all the pages between these vote counts, pages 17-22, where did WPK change his vote to Waffles? :thunk
     
    anyways once i get settled in at work ill reread day 1 and start playing the game proper

    i think if anyone has any justification to sus me it’s because of how i lazed about day 1 but honestly i don’t feel very vigilant about leading the charge in scumhunting on NF anymore

    suspecting me for my SK vote is flat out disingenuous - i said in the previous game if SK started up with that bullshit again that i would lynch him, so i did

    i was the very first person to do so, ergo you can’t accuse me of wagoning or riding an easy vote, it’s well established that my day 1 meta is unilaterally policy/spite lynching

    anyways the names that stuck out to me besides SK on Day 1 were Franky, Mexikorn, and Kira Yagami

    im also not liking the lowkey play from Dr. White, Katsuargi, and Legend

    maerala is clear town
    i have a personal Town meta read on Sweet Home and novaselinenever
    i think LG is clean this game
    and Dragomir and Cinera seem determined to solve the game

    ill check the vote tracking and interactions later on but day 1 was very successful for us

    Don't know why everyone is suddenly jumping on this WPK train. He had the right idea of going after MAD for his silly pursuit of the SK lynch. Plus looking into people who didn't vote will be beneficial. Like Hyperion for example. He was active but didn't vote for anyone. In addition his post were mainly about the game's lore instead of what's actually going on this game. Pretty suspicious that.

    i mean SK ended up being Town and jayjay’s theory about subliminally baiting SK into his gamethrow meta turned out to be correct but i repeat that same lynch 100 out of 100 times because i am exasperated with NF’s hard troll meta so I have zero point zero patience for that shit

    its curious though, again, why literally the first person who voted for him, who has a history of strictly policy/spite lynching on day 1 is being sussed out for this instead of say, the half dozen or so people that rushed/scrambled to vote SK in the last 4-5 hours of the day phase
     
    the whole day phase should be looked into obviously but i think we should especially analyze votes and interactions after this post

    now that i am paying attention to it, Dragomir and nova are 95% good here

    and we should consider who are the players who made SK the runaway wagon

    i wanna take a look at luck’s case too but i remember him claimining with very little pressure, could be a fakeclaim but i recall vaguely tone reading it as sincere
