two things:

1) outside perspectives can often find things that someone familiar may miss
2) unlike most mafia players, I could give two shits about meta. I can change my behaviour when typing, I know several others who can as well. Meta might be somewhat useful, but should not always be used as a smoking gun.

I have those regrets too. Where I pointed out scum, convinced people to vote for him, but then second guessed myself and changed my vote turns out I correctly called out scum didn't vote him, he still gets lynched at least and then I get thoroughly questioned the next day for not going through with it. Been there, done that.

I posted it fairly early in the day, but Laix, Alwaysmind, and TravelingSwordsman all were around at EOD and didn't have their vote on LG, and combined with their lame reasoning, they are all on my radar. Legend also was part of this group at EOD D1, but he has yet to post today to answer.

you really haven't been reading, as I've rehashed this over and over again.

I didn't 100% believe that Vanya was town, even with my town leans reading him town, but I still pressed him without voting for him. your equating scumreads and voting and pressuring needing to be on the same person here is why I feel there's a disconnect between what we're saying to each other.

On one hand, lynching a no poster is kind of risky. If we didn't get lucky, I think a serious drawback is everyone is questioning you the next day of "why did you switch to them?" When in all seriousness, you won't potentially have a good reason for doing so and would end up looking scummy and end up being available to be on the chopping block.

Like you said, we can't necessarily go off of our regular voting conclusions. I think in some cases if a player has a decent town or scum role etc. there's still probably at least a tiny inkling to want to protect it, and avoiding the main wagon is a way to do it.

Yes, it's scummy that they were there and didn't switch, but I think more than one conclusion can be drawn here.

But like you are doing, we do need to ask more and more questions and get answers.

From my reads list from yesterday, Lind has moved into to null or slight scum. When I asked in the thread about Lind being in both groups, I was wondering if that was typo or if the mod had copied the wrong name over since Lind was somehow listed as 17 in both spots with it being alphabetically order if memory serves.

But with it not being a typo and I haven't seen Lind yet [vote lynch Lind]

We need to get some wagons going so that people have time to actually think about voting for people instead of just last minute, cause clearly not everyone is willing to switch last minute.

I didn't like Draekke's answer in P#585 due to "Trying to make my thoughts clear to the group to help Town" and "It was a plan to get reactions all along" aren't the same thing. It probably doesn't help but I do think Draekke looks bad from this.

I am still struggling to understand how Mafia rolecopping someone and targetting them for death at the same time makes sense, that + still voting them for a lynch ( as flower claimed her pushers had scum in it). Like it doesnt compute from a mafia POV to do something like this if Flower is town as she claims, because the first waste of ressources is rolecopping and targetting for death then added to that it would be pushing said woman for a lynch when they can easily just go for someone else and leave her to die. As for her using her ability tonight they would just have to do the same thing they did tonight to her again.

And lastly but this is mostly thinking rationally why would mafia even attempt to kill Flower when she's been one of the main suspects for a lot of people?
