Why did DDL claim to be a role that could be a traitor if he's scanned Inno?
He claimed it right away without pressure. Looks weird to me unless there's a benefit on doing it. He's not a noob.

If he doesn't know the lore or theme.

It's possible he genuinely has no idea that dreadlords in WoW are bad and the character he has specifically is a traitor, idk. But he did paint himself as an easy target and it could've been intentional like someone else had mentioned.

I don't really know tbh

^

Tbh whenever I play a Shizune game I end up feeling lost because these games seem designed in a way that only people who know the source material can play it.

What usually happens is that there is a clique of Warcraft players who know what's going on and the rest of us are just spectators.

So getting D1'd in a Shizune game because of that seems normal.

No offense, Shizune, but I felt like I had to let that out.

Proven here.

DDL, don't blame the host for your inability to do a google search on your own damn character.

As an alternate form of pressuring. In so far as pressuring him myself through posts, I'm honestly not sure what else I could say to him to draw anything more out of him. I think his interactions earlier showed pretty much the extent of what his replies would be to questioning his miller claim. He hasn't been around since then.
An empty vote is not pressure, when he's not under any threat of being lynched.

So, how about you actually pressure people.

I probably would have pressured you to the best of my abilities (which if it isn't obvious already I'm not all that good at).
What would you have asked me?

What would have made made you think I was scum and what would make you read me as town?

Pretty sure he's got at least one other vote. So its not like I'm the only one who thinks voting to lynch him would be a bad idea. Obviously this late in the phase nothing is going to derail the DDL wagon, but throwing my vote on the DDL wagon would be an even emptier gesture. Rather stick my neck out with a vote on Odd.

Mainly why you felt the need to jump so aggressively on someone making an early town claim.

As to your second question, if I'm perfectly honest I'm not sure. Just because your play style is a bit scattershot in so far as to who you are pushing.

A good mafia game can be understood even by players who don't know the setting.

That's how I host games about obscure webcomics and other stuff nobody knows.

Otherwise, you might as well set your setup for 10-15 people and say you only want Warcraft players in it.

Anyway people, this was an attempt to make a gambit that obviously backfired. I'm not mad for being lynched.

But I hope this doesn't stay personal, because yesterday it felt like my real life character was being attacked from every direction because of something that happened in-game, and it still feels like that.

I didn't choose to have a scum-like role, and I just made the move that seemed like it would help my wincon. It doesn't help that, on top of being d1 lynched/vigged every game, I'm now having my intelligence and character attacked whenever that happens.

It's hard to convince myself to play mafia here when it feels like people don't want me in their games.

Solution: Da Alley. Wad's games give people leeway to be goofy and highly unserious.

I don't think anyone was attacking you as a person DDL, not intentionally anyway.

What is your exact wincon? You stated that your wincon is to weaken both factions. How does this exactly work? You have to kill people from both sides? When is it the victory point?

That's not my wincon, that's flavor text.

I win the game if either town or red mafia wins.

And @John Wayne did you even give your reads?

Dr. White claims I'm 100% scum based on "dry posting" which I assume means that I haven't hard pressured anyone which is like true for more than half of the players.

Perhaps he thinks my "emotional reaction" to that was overplayed, well duh I just act that way in general so you'd see the same whether I was scum or not. Then there's the fact he could even put pressure me, so yeah his read on me feels very half asssed.

Other then that we DDL which I'm pretty sure I don't need where he fucked up.

I'm pretty certain there's something shady going around with the situation around Oreki, a lot of people say he's certainly town and others say he's definitely scum. Feels like someone is deliberately trying to draw attention to it.

I'm honestly shocked Katsuargi gets ignored in every game even tho I'm 90% certain he's a super indie.

I'm playing in a pretty damn good mafia game right now.

I Google every character I play, regardless of theme. Even this one, which I have 15 years experience with. *shrug*

You start blaming Nitty for your mistake, that's when I start getting aggro. Not sure why you'd neg me about hating you-- couldn't say where that comes from. I don't even hate Laix.

DDL making excuses I think. I'm not finding the game any more hard to follow than any other mafia game.

Seems too over the top appeal to emotion, but at the same time I'm not sure. He did legitimately neg me after all.

Katsu being Katsu, most of his posts are just running commentary and I don't get the whole "he revealed that he has invest power accidentally so totes town". That doesn't follow since invest isn't inherently a town ability, Indies can have it too.
I think he's town, a bit too open talking about what he can do since early.
Also this is not Iwan's game where Katsu is highly likely if not always neutral indie :dank

What's the point of you trying to paint him as indie tho?

I'd appreciate a good summary although I'd probably be all caught up by eod

Only important things to know:
-Town tried to scan WPK with tarot mechanic during the first 24 hours
-DDL played a gambit and got himself scanned instead
-WPK gets Super Killed by WAD, flips town
-DDL claims a Dread Lord which can win with either faction (traitor)
-Someone reversed time and undid WPK getting killed
-WAD reveals Ratchet, also town
-Second 24 hours have generally been being pissed at DDL for his gambit

I like to meme you because memeing is funny but I'd hope you don't take anything in game actually personal

Not that I really rag on you I guess but ya
