Honestly the mafia played really well so props to you guys. @is a and me do deserve some cred though, especially him, because If he hadn’t immediately come out the gate at the start of the dp, with the scanned guilty claim, and then if I hadn’t kept vocally pushing for everyone to vote cooler, we might have missed our chance and he would’ve been vigged lmaoo. WAD played amazing tho no doubt.

:doggokek

Sure, that was a good play. I feel like it was kind of inevitable though. Cooler was not one of our targets. We wouldn't have vigged him any time soon.

@Kira Yagami is the only scum i actually didn't have suspects on at all, other than the usual small suspect on inactive players.

@Badalight was 50/50 after the solo aragorn lynch, and @Owner Of A Lonely Heart seemed like a member of the cult that i thought had flower/broki/haumi. and @Nessos was 50/50 after the shenanigans with LG

overall great scum play tbh

i probably owe @Flower an apology too lmaoo, no way she was not culted. I think the RNG nature of the cult might have saved sm ppl lmaoo.

can only blame myself for being unable to convince the town to stop lynching @Cooler

did rly not see the game end coming lmaoo

Trueee, but if anything had happened to any of us cult members, or we had been shot/vote silenced for the next dp, it could have cost us a win. Especially if me or is a died. Then cooler would have had to recruit someone else before he could be lynched for the wincon. It was stressful.

Some quick closing thoughts, then I'm going to bed:

Despite some of you saying otherwise, I think the town roles were very strong in this game. However, I avoided some game mechanics that normally favor the town, such as not putting much game-solving information into the writeups. I can see where that may have given the impression that this game was harder than usual for the town faction.

The indies in this game were particularly strong. There were four indies, each with game-altering abilities and a strong chance at winning. I don't think the indies were overpowered, but they did exceed player expectations, and that may have been frustrating. At the very least, indie wins never go over well. Sometimes people like the idea of indies more than they like the reality of indies.

I thought it was commonly understood that jesters were game-ending, especially so when I went out of my way to bring attention to the jester's existence. Maybe I should have been more clear, but at the same time, nobody bothered to ask me about the jester, and I had already decided that I would tell you the jester was game-ending if only somebody thought to ask me.

When making this game, I was challenged a couple of times by people who felt like I couldn't rise to the same standard of "role madness" set by some other hosts here. I believe I proved them wrong, but admittedly, I did not enjoy it very much. I am looking forward to returning to the simpler, more carefully-made games that I'm known for.

Town MVP: @Flower
Mafia MVP: @Badalight
Indie MVP: @is a

I believe all the roles have been posted, unless I made a mistake and missed one. I will work on linking them in the OP for ease of access tomorrow. For now, though, I finally rest. :catnoworries

Is that how it worked? The role makes it sound like he only had to get to 3 recruits once.

WAD was definitely about to die though. No way was he surviving the night.

Nah you're pretty good.

The only major gaff I can recall from you that you didnt get your way out of was I think Alley Horror when your became Ghostscream and told the thread day 1 after Aries didn't immediately put your in our chat lll

That game was soooo funny

me: "hey aries I can sub in your game if you like, when does it start"
aries: "in 10 minutes, here's your role"
me: what LOL
